Lieutenant rank:

the main title screen, then start a new game. This results in
a game with a level 2 shield, no weight limit, Taylor M82, Michaels
9mmS, 99 clips, bonus points displayed when earned, and a 10,000
point bonus when a level is completed.


Captain rank:
Press Circle, R1, Circle, L1,
Triangle, R2 at the main title screen, then start
a new game. This results in a game with radar, no weight limit,

Major rank:

General rank:

in a game with a level 3 shield, level 3 sensor, radar, no weight
limit, intermediate level of all weapons, 99 clips for each and
bonus points displayed when earned.


Master of X-Squad rank:
Press Circle(4), Triangle, Square(4)
at the main title screen, then start a new game. This results
in a game with a level 3 shield, level 3 sensor, radar, no weight
limit, master level of all weapons, 99 clips for each, and bonus
points displayed when earned.


Hint: Defeating the Flamethrower Boss:

When he uses his flame gun, always stay away from it
as it can set you alight. Kill any guards who jump down, then
face him again. Once his yellow bar is empty, he will die.


Hint: More bonus points:
Shoot all the environment-like computers, explosive
barrels, cabinets, etc.


Hint: Buying weapons:
Press the acquire button and select "Weapons".
You can get a rocket launcher, flame gun, assault rifle, and sniper
rifle including a grenade gun.



Hint: Energy packs from team members:
Press Select and go to all the squad members
and check their equipment. They should have an energy pack or
two. Assign all of the energy packs to yourself.
