Hint: Silly hats:
This is instantly unlocked when you unlock a new hat.
You can unlock new hats on the "Infiltration" challenges.

Hint: Power-up Orbs:
In the Arcade levels, there are four power-ups. A description
and what they do follows:

Blue Orb with wings: Super-speed boost
Yellow Orb with helmet: Cloak of invisibility
Aqua Orb with divided sphere: Makes you smaller
Red Orb with spike: Power boost for strength

Hidden mini-games:
When using the Temporal Link, press Triangle
while using the link to open a set of mini-games, such as Snake.
Hint: Mini-games:
To play the mini games after they have been unlocked,
go to the temporal uplink and press Triangle. It will zoom
in and ask which mini-game you would like to play. If you are
playing in two player co-op mode, you can play two player mini-games.

Hint: Faster reloads:
Some guns have slower reload times than others. Instead
of pressing Reload, press Next Weapon quickly followed
by Previous Weapon (or vice versa). When you switch to
a new weapon and go back to it, the weapon will automatically
be reloaded.

Hint: Zoom in:
Press L1 to aim, then press Up to zoom
in. The is very helpful on first infiltration level with the sniper.

Hint: Timed mines:
In a level where you get timed mines (preferably Siberia,
since it has zombies), you can throw a mine onto an enemy and
it will make them explode. The effect is better with a zombie,
because if you hit them with two (one on the head and one on the
chest), it will blow them apart.

Hint: Destroying the Bio-Hazard case:
When you restore the power in the building, go down
to the "Digging Site". When you get there, you will
see a case with something in it. Make sure you have plenty of
Timed Mines. Walk towards it and throw four or five Timed Mines
at it then run away. When it blows up, the woman on the speaker
will start talking. People with very good guns (Flame Thrower,
Shotgun, Machine Guns, etc.) will appear. You will also have a
new objective to not let any mutants survive.

Hint: Destroying camera:
Shoot the screen of the camera. This causes it to blow
out, conserving your ammunition. For turret cameras, shoot the
tip of the barrel since there is no screen.

Hint: Destroying gun turrets:
To destroy a gun turret that is positioned on the ground,
shoot it in the screen that is located slightly above the barrel.
If the turret is positioned on a wall or above your head, then
the screen should be slightly beneath the barrel. The screen is
the blinking red and green light.

Hint: Fire extinguisher:
When you are on fire and have a fire extinguisher,
point it down and spray while running. You will have extinguished
your own fire.

Hint: Fire immunity:
The robot R-109 cannot catch on fire.

Hint: Jump off a ramp farther with a Turbo
Buggy:
If you turn slightly just before you jump off a ramp
in a Turbo Buggy you will go farther. Note: Sometimes it helps
to swerve up to the ramp. This can be difficult to do at first.
When done correctly, you can clear about a tile and a half (which
will clear you past one "Death Room" tile).

Hint: Kill Zombies faster:
When a zombie comes after you, shoot it in the head.
To kill zombies easier and faster then shooting them, just punch
them with your fists. To kill zombies without using the shotgun, just use your fists.
It takes practice, but it saves ammunition and is easier when
used to take out groups of enemies. When you are fighting a good amount of zombies with no weapons,
such as in the challenge "Behead The Undead", get the
zombies in one spot, then run right at the side of the outermost
zombie and punch. If punch in the correct location, the zombie's
head will come off. Do this until there are no zombies remaining.
Note: This may not work on Sergio's Last Stand.

Hint: Break off a zombie's head after they
are eliminated:
If there is an explosion next to the corpse of an eliminated
zombie in "Elimination" or "Vampire" game
mode, their head sometimes cracks off and tumbles across the level.

Hint: Saving time:
If you are standing on a upper level area, and there
is another upper area next to you that you have to find a way
to get to, to save time, carefully go to the corner of the two
upper areas and walk across the very small area at the corner.

Hint: Monkey recommendation:
When you play as a monkey, not taking into account
the surrounding area, the Ninja Monkey is the worst. The regular
Monkey and the Cyborg Chimp are close, and the Brains is the best.
This is based on size. All the monkeys have the same stats and
view height. The smaller the monkey is, the better they are because
they are harder to hit. Brains is the best because chunks of his
body are cut out and his head can come off, making him even smaller.
The Ninja Monkey is the worst because he has swords and items
that you can shoot which hurts him. If the area you play in has
a lot of pipes that give off steam when you shoot them, choose
the Cyborg Chimp. Steam does not hurt him. If you play in a dark
area, choose the Ninja Monkey because he is black. If you play
in an icy area like Siberia, play as the Cyborg Chimp. He is the
same color as the ice. If you play in a brownish area, choose
the normal Monkey or Brains. They are the same color as their
surroundings. Note: Sometimes Brains has a tendency to blend in
with things that you would not expect him to.

Hint: 1920 Aztec Ruins: Fire arrows:
When playing in multi-player mode and you have the
crossbow which you start out with, put the tip of the arrow to
the flame of the torch. You can now light people on fire by using
the crossbow. Note: If you reload or run out of the round, you
will have to light it again.

Hint: 1853 Wild West: Defeating the Colonel:

Save the black powder not needed to open the jail.
When it is time to defeat the Colonel, pour a trail of black powder
down the train tracks in the tunnel leading to his lair. Start
at the lamp near the mining cart and go down the tracks to where
the Colonel speaks to you. Once his health meter appears, retreat.
By shooting the lamp, it will fall and explode, setting fire to
the powder. The burning powder will race down the tunnel and set
fire to the Colonel, along with all the men with him who are chasing
you. If you keep running from the Colonel, the fire will eventually
finish him.

Hint: 1853 Wild West: Enemies after crystal:

At the end of the level when you get the Time Crystal,
be very careful. Once you collect it, Time Splitters start appearing
all around the level, and are very annoying. They can turn almost
invisible and shoot at you with powerful blue beams.

Hint: 1895 Notre Dame Paris: Defeating
the Portal Daemon:
When you encounter the Portal Daemon, stand behind
the center pillar of the landing, and arm your shotgun. Each time
he shoots the blue at you, duck behind the pillar. When he finishes
each shot, dart out and nail him in the head with your shotgun.
After doing this five or six times, he will fall over and die.
When you are fighting the Portal Daemon, pull out your (2x) Luger
pistols and fire them rapidly at his body. When he shoots at you,
take cover behind a pillar and shoot at him again.

Hint: 1895 Notre Dame Paris: Saving the
maidens:
When you get to the area of the level when you have
to save the maidens under the normal difficulty setting, save
the first two maidens. When you get to the third maiden, ignore
her. It is really a zombie in disguise. Instead, run over to the
fourth maiden and eliminate the zombies that are trying to kill
her. After you rescue her from the zombies, make sure she gets
to safety.

Hint: 1895 Notre Dame Paris: Time Crystal:

After you kill Jaque De La Morte, look for the Time
Crystal. Although it may seem sensible to look for it where you
killed Morte, it is actually in the part where you saved the last
maiden. The crystal located up on the riser of the church. Go
up and get it while the Hunchback is blasting the zombies.

Hint: 1920 Aztec Ruins: Flaming arrow with
crossbow:
Select the crossbow as your starting weapon. As soon
as the map has loaded, equip yourself with the crossbow. Search
the map for a tunnels with a flaming torch on either the left
or right side. Stand in front the torch. Use the Right Analog-stick
to look up at the torch. If done correctly, the tip of the arrow
should be burning. The flaming arrow can incinerate multiple enemies
at each time instead of just one.

Hint: 1932 Chicago: Play pool:
At the O'Leary's Club, go into the room with the pool
table. You can shoot the que balls into the pockets or play pool
like a pro. Take aim and shoot the white ball and have it hit
one of the que balls and knock it into the hole.

Hint: 1932 Chicago: Defeating Big Tony:

Get Big Tony to come out, then hide back in the hallway
that you came out of. When Big Tony walks down the stairs, he
will stop. Snipe him in the head with any desired gun (sniper
rifle recommended).

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: Anaconda
mini-game:
Once you get across to the other side of the dam and
go into the other building with all the shelves, look to something
that resembles a Nintendo 64 game cartridge on the first shelf.
Walk over and pick it up. It will be in your inventory as "Anaconda".
Highlight it and press Action to play the game. Note: This
was done under the normal difficulty setting. If you do not get caught by the cameras (you will hear an alarm
if you do), you will see an Nintendo 64-shaped game cartridge
on the nearest shelf in the building on the other side of the
dam. This can be done under the easy difficulty setting. Do everything as usual, except after you get to the other side
of the dam and are in the building (the one you can see from the
other side of the dam if you look across it). Enter the building
and get to the room with all of the shelves with watermelons and
items. After entering the room, take a left turn and you will
see a shelf. Lon the other side of the shelf, then look down and
to your right. You should the game cartridge. While you are bent
down, press Action. Then press Start and go to the
weapons selection screen. Go all the way to the bottom of the
list and press Action. You will now be able to play the
Anaconda game.

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: Destroying
the dish:
In the beginning of the level, make your way to the
upper section of the building with the dish. If you walk around
the catwalk, there will be a group of boards on top of the bunkers,
and one leading from the catwalk to one of the bunkers. Cross
the board and one in front of it (not the one on your left). There
will an opening on top of the bunker. Go in it and there will
be some timed mines. After that, leave and set a couple of mines
on the dish somehow. The dish will be destroyed, saving you the
trip back and forth. Note: If you check the bunker through the
door on the outside, it will say that the door is locked on the
inside.

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: Easy first
part:
When you start, get the sniper. Get into sniper mode
and aim at the stairs. Get your aiming perfect and snipe the guard's
head. Next, snipe the guard on the catwalk in the head. Snipe
the camera next to him (try to shoot the lens). Next, snipe the
guard on the ground in the head. Wait at that location if he goes
away, and make sure you are not seen by him. Next, move to the
fence and snipe the female guard across it. Next, move between
the two buildings, then aim-and-snipe at the camera. Finally,
move to the upper building on the right. Aim and snipe the guard
through the glass in the door. Note: If you are playing under
the normal or hard difficulty setting, watch out for the hidden
sniper guard when you open the door. Snipe-and-shoot the guard
in the window in the dam. There will also be a guard and three
cameras on the other side.

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: Ending the
level:
Destroy the radar dish on top of the outpost with the
timed mines. Proceed through the level and get to the container
with the TimeSplitter in it. Keep throwing mines onto it, one
after another. It will eventually explode and the mission will
be completed.

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: PA system:

When you go underground into the research facility,
look up at the ceiling. Throw a timed mine on the speakers for
the PA system. After they explode, the PA system will produce
a cacophony of sound when the woman speaks.

Hint: 1990 Oblask Dam Siberia: Extra Soviet
S47 ammunition:
When you gain access to the other side of Siberia,
enter the building and go near the stairs and hit the alarm. After
a few seconds, a guard with a Soviet S47 should appear. Kill him
and the other guard that appears. Collect their guns and continue
this to do this until you have enough ammunition.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Easy completion:

In story mode, instead of following the girl to the
gang's hideout, at the beginning of the level, wait for the train
to pass. Then, immediately jump on the back-most bottom support
rail. Have the Terminal Uplink out and jump down. If done correctly,
you should be in the streets with just a second or two before
the cameras catch you. Then, dive in and out of cover as fast
as you can, because you do not have to worry about the girl catching
you (because she is behind you). When you get to the stairway
to enter the sewers, do not go in. Instead, look for a crate in
the far left corner. Hide behind this until the girl arrives.
When she goes out of sight in the sewers, follow her as usual.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Astro Lander mini-game:

Play the level under the normal difficulty setting
in story mode. After following the hacker to her secret hideout,
use her password to enter the TimeSplitter research area. Once
inside, go into the room at the end of the hall. Inside is a laptop
and a group of lockers. Two of the lockers will open. Inside one
is a sub machine gun. Inside the other is the arcade game Astro
Lander. It is on the floor of the locker and resembles a Nintendo
64 game cartridge. Select "Astro Lander" from inside
your inventory. A small menu will appear with Astro Lander and
two other areas. After playing it or turning off your PlayStation2,
select your temporary uplink (in story mode) and press Action
to play Astro Lander or any other game you may have found.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Shortcut:
In story mode, as soon as you start the level, jump
off the side of the platform that you are on. You will appear
about 40 seconds away from the lab, instead of having to go through
the place with the guns; and instead of three or four cameras
there will be only be one or two remaining.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Healing location:

Under the normal or hard difficulty setting, there
is a special place where you can heal. Near the gun shop where
you find the silenced pistol and sniper rifle behind glass, there
is a staircase nearby going down. The staircase leads to some
long hallways. One hallway has several twists and turns in it.
At the end of the hallway, after the twists and turns, is a dead-end
with a small shop on the left-hand side. Inside is The Master,
who will heal you if you approach him very closely. Note: Under
the easy difficulty setting, the shop is empty.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Concept art :
Under any difficulty setting, go down the stairs to
the gun place. Instead of going straight, turn left when you get
to the bottom and go down. When at the bottom of these steps,
turn to the right and go forward. You should see stairs on your
left. Go down them and there should be concept art of Chasity
and Ghost on the walls. There is also a fashion model poster farther
back in the hall.

Hint: 2019 Neo Tokyo: Old Man:
In NeoTokyo, under any difficulty, complete your mission.
Instead of going into the time portal, and after killing all of
Sadako's minions (which is much easier if you take out the cameras
first), walk along the streets until you find a white sign that
Reads "MARU station-->". Exactly opposite of that
sign is a staircase. Follow that staircase until you have reached
the hallways. Go all the way to the end of the hallways and there
operating the "MARU sticks" stand is a decadently dressed
Old Man.

Hint: 2315 Robot Factory: Saving health:

Early in the level, there are green lasers on a wall
that explode if you touch them. There should be a joystick around
somewhere. Press X to get in control of a suspended machine
gun. You can either blow it up by driving it into the lasers,
or shoot the little box on the side. This will conserve your health.
Note: Press L2 to zoom in and to move the gun use normal
controls.

Hint: 2315 Robot Factory: Racer mini-game:

Play the level under the hard difficulty setting. Under
one of the ramps is the final mini-game cartridge.

Hint: Assault At Scrapyard: Easy win:
Run into the main building and take out all the turrets.
Then, turn left and go into that hallway. Next, run down that
hallway and try to take out the guns. Note: This may take several
attempts. Keep running into the cooling towers. Take out the rocket
launchers and destroy the robots. Run into the next hallway and
keep going until you see a room just after the red armor. There
will be a homing launcher turret directly behind the entrance.
Keep going until you see a sign that reads "Control Room".
Follow the arrows. When you reach the control room, you will get
the complete sign. This will require some practice.

Hint: Badass Buspass Impasse:
Note: It is easier to complete the game under the easy
difficulty setting first. Learn the layouts; which alley leads
to which overpass (the office windows), and go straight for the
brain. If you know the layout you can get the Platinum/Gold and
unlock him. It is the same for R-one-oh-seven's mission, except
his is very difficult.

Hint: Chasm: Virus and Flametag hiding:

In Flametag and Virus, go to the building which floors
look rusty and is older than the other building. Go to the very
top bridge. Notice beside you is the other bridge. Carefully walk
on the beam that is above the lower bridge. If you stay on, the
infected and the "it" person will keep running off the
bridge below the beam and commit suicide. In Flametag and Virus, if you are on a bridge and the infected
and the "it" person are running to you, run off the
bridge and commit suicide. When doing this, you do not immediately
contract the virus, but you can escape the virus.

Hint: Disco: Play the guitar or cymbal:

In the "Disco" arcade level, shoot the guitar
or the cymbal and it will make a sound.

Hint: Rice Cracker Rush:
When you start the level, get the Cloak power-up located
in a little storage bay along the way. The enemy will not shoot
at you while you are cloaked. Make your way to the enemy base.
Along the way you will see cement stakes in the sidewalk. Walk
up to the stakes and take a right. Notice the little passageway
with stairs. Take it -- this will prevent you from having to go
through a group of opponents going the normal way. This passageway
contains a weapon and a Damage Amplifier power-up (red orb). By
using this shortcut you can get Gold easily. If the cops start
shooting you, either use plasma grenades or just keep running.
Remember to pick up the Cloak when you can, or the cops will be
all over you. Use that passageway to your advantage. It is a great
shortcut to the enemy's bag. Once you go down the stairs that
the passageway leads to, their bag is right outside. Take the
bag and take off back up the passageway to get Gold easily.

Hint: Elite League - Golem Guru: Easy win:

In this level is an area that looks like an unfinished
office building with stairs that lead to another level. Go up
the stairs and find the metal beams. This is where you will find
the Homing Launcher. Get a direct hit on the Golem twice with
the secondary function and it should kill him.

Hint: Honorary League - Outnumbered But
Never Outpunned and Time To Split:
Around certain corners and boxes are the LaserGun,
Electrotool, SBP90 Machinegun, SBP90 Machinegun x2 and Plasma
Autorifle. If you use this and the shrink power-up, you can get
all fifteen TimeSplitters down very quickly. Just make sure they
do not get the guns first.

Hint: Mapmaker: Horror Tileset: Play the
organ:
Place the "Generic Large" item in the mapmaker
when using the "Horror Tileset". While playing the game,
press Action next to that item and it will play a song.

Hint: Mapmaker: Make zombies lie down or
stand:
In the mapmaker when you use a custom bot set, put
zombies as some of the bots in story mode. They can stand stationary
(when stationary or spawn and wait) or patrol the area (when patrol
or spawn and patrol). If you use a pre-made bot set like "Undead",
when you place a zombie as stationary, patrol, spawn and wait,
or spawn and patrol, when it appears it will just be laying on
its face and get up when you get near it. Note: With either type
of bot set, when you place a pawn and patrol the zombie will just
attack you.

Hint: Multi-player: Assault On Training
Ground:
Note: You must have two other players with you to accomplish
this. Select Assault On Training Ground. Have one shot kill on,
and use some kind of double pistol for weapons. Machine guns are
too difficult to do this with. To make it more interesting, have
nine or ten five star bots against you. First, have your team
leave your base together. A large mob of the bots will come around
the first corner to meet you. Three of you should be enough to
level all of them with ease. Then, when you are approaching the
waterfall, have one of your team make a beeline for the water
that is gathered in a pool. All of the bots appear there before
he seizes it. Note: Do not kill any of the bots that are gathered
around the waterfall. Have the person that went to the waterfall
seize the ground. You will then appear at the waterfall from this
point forward. Then, have that person keep getting killed by the
waterfall repeatedly. All of the bots will be distracted with
that player, and will not defend their own base. Then, have the
other two people on your team destroy the fuel dumps and computers
with no resistance. It is possible to complete this against 10
five star bots in about 50 seconds by using this trick.

Hint: Multi-player: Capture The Bag:
If you and your team are surrounded in your base and
have nowhere to go (if they have defenses positions set up), use
the "backwards man" technique. Run backwards and do
not shoot at the enemies that run past, unless you want to be
brave get to their base. Still running backwards, grab the bag
and have another teammate halfway to your point take your fire.
Note: Do not run backwards going back -- just run very fast because
at this point you are a marked man. If you have no one to play against in multi-player mode, and you
want to find an easier way to play Capture The Bag with bots,
set the game to one hit kill and have no weapons on. During capture the bag, one shot kill (works best with revolvers
or pistols), select the training ground. When you get to where
their flag is located, notice that there are two computers that
control turrets. Man either one to control its gun. Kill them
in their own base. They also will not shoot you. You can pave
the way for your other teammates to run and get the flag.

Hint: Multi-player: Hangar ambush:
In the Hangar, if you do not want to get tagged or
you want to make a quick ambush, go upstairs. When you see a big
object, wait until it goes into the hole, then step into the hole.
You will be on the object while it is above the ground and free
from harm on Flame Tag, but while on Contender or anything else
with killings, watch out.

Hint: Multi-player: Scrapyard hiding location:

In the Scrapyard level in multi-player mode, there
are two sniper towers. Go to the one you normally see, and sometimes
start in. Go to the top and look straight ahead to the other corner.
There is a semi-hidden tower that is entered by going through
a hole in the wall. Most of the time, bots will not go into the
tower.

Hint: Multi-player: Robot benefit:
When playing in any multi-player mode except flame
tag and virus as a robot (for example, R-109, Chassisbot, and
Sentrybot), you will not catch fire, and flamethrowers will be
ineffective against you.

Hint: Multi-player: Fun with remote mines:

Select teams and turn off friendly fire. Choose remote
mines as one of the weapons. You can load up to twenty of these
mines, however four to five will work nicely for this trick. Have
that player run at the enemy. Using coordination, you can explode
the mines on your partner, killing all around him while he is
perfectly fine. However, your partner should have a weapon ready.

Hint: Challenge 7:
At the beginning of the challenge, do not immediately
snipe Capt. Snow. Instead, wait for another guard to enter your
line of fire between the steps in the staircase. If you do not
do this, when you kill Capt. Snow, he will notice, thus taking
away valuable stealth points. After you kill him, you can then
kill Capt. Snow and continue with the rest of the challenge.

Hint: Stain Removal Challenge:
Instead of using the grenades on the grenade launcher,
use the fire-ball (R1). It will reach the further glass
windows in the church.

Hint: Easier level and challenge completion:

If you are getting frustrated with a certain League
Challenge or Regular Challenge, try turning auto aim on. This
is especially helpful in the Outmanned But Never Outpunned levels
in the Medium League. For the Someone Has Got To Pay level, keep
shooting those ducks and running around to find them. They are
programmed to target you so they will find you. Just pin them
in and use two shotguns when you get them. The You Can't Handle
This level is challenging. Find the room in the Nightclub that
has a stage in it. There is only one way into this room. Get two
Tommy guns and camp there, shooting them as they appear in the
doorway. You may die once or twice, but just get another Tommy
gun and make your way to the room. Keep doing this until time
runs out. You will then earn Gold/Platinum and unlock Handyman.

Hint: Self destruction and self-employed
viruses:
If you use Remote, Timed or Proximity mines while playing
the virus game, make sure not to lay any too close when its time
for them to explode. When you detonate them, this will result
in you immediately contracting the virus, even if you have not
been tagged. The game does not allow suicide as a valid evasion
of the virus wave. Also, if you have power-ups on and have collected
the speed power-up, do not throw mines at the floor while running.
This attaches the mines to yourself, as you are running so fast.
This is not a good idea when playing virus as mentioned above.

Hint: First person shooter game references:

Various levels are named after other first person shooter
gamers. Arcade/Arcade League/Elite League/Sincerest Form of Flattery/Dead
Fraction-is a reference to Red Faction. Arcade/Arcade League/Elite
League/Sincerest Form Of Flattery/Half-Death refers to Half-Life.
Arcade/Arcade League/Honorary League/Outnumbered But Never Outpunned/Time
To Split is a reference to the original TimeSplitters.

Glitch: Darkness in Chasm level:
Start the Chasm level and go to the top bridge. Run
towards one of the walls, pressing yourself against the it. Eventually,
you should land in one of the windows, in a normal room, but everything
will be black. If you try to leave, it will return to normal.
Any player who enters this room can only see you at certain angles.
If you go up a few ramps, you can also leave the level entirely,
and go as far outside as desired. The outside of the level is
entirely black.

Glitch: Teleporting zombie in the Mansion
Of Madness story level:
In the room with a balcony above where you fight the
Deerhaunter, zombies will attack you. If you turn away from the
zombies when they walk towards you, they will walk through the
railing of the balcony. When you turn around they will fall into
the room below. Continue the level until you reach the checkpoint
after the library. The zombie will then be waiting there for you,
but will not move. It will just look above your right ear and
hold its gun, bat, or hands out and slightly over to its right.

Glitch: Go outside the Training Ground
level:
To leave the collision boundaries of the Training Ground
level, you must have "Shrink mode" unlocked. Select
Arcade, Arcade Custom, Shrink mode and the Training Ground level.
Put all 10 bots in and select to play as the monkey. Note: This
may also work with other small characters such as machinist, Stumpy,
or baby drone. Do not attack anyone, so that you shrink to the
smallest possible size. You can run through the waterfall and
get outside the level. The bots may try to follow, but cannot.
You can safely reenter the level from almost anywhere.

Glitch: Go outside the Ufobia level:
Fall down onto the three UFOs. Go on to the third UFO
and jump into the door below you. This should take you outside
the level, but it may take some practice. Although you cannot
see everyone else, they can see you and shoot you. You cannot
shoot them.

Glitch: Not on any team (mercenary):
In custom arcade mode, turn on handicaps. Set everything
as desired and press X to start the game. The player that
wants to use the glitch should press Triangle quickly to
be on no team. Note: This only works on team games such as Capture
The Bag. Also, on Capture The Bag you cannot score, but can pick
up any bag.

Glitch: Go through waterfall:
Go to arcade mode custom under the frantic difficulty
setting. Choose shrink mode (if available). Go to the Training
Ground level and be a monkey. The bots and weapons do not matter.
When you start, keep getting killed. Eventually you will be so
small that you can fit through the waterfall. Once you go there,
the sky is the limit.

Glitch: Get a scope on any gun that does
not have a scope or has a bad scope:
Get any gun(x2) and the gun that you want to get a
scope for. Switch to the gun(x2). Note: You must have enough ammunition
to reload the left- and right-hand guns. Fire off all the bullets
except for one in the left-hand gun. The right-hand gun will automatically
reload. Start firing by keeping Fire held down. Once the
left-hand gun stops firing because it is out of ammunition, pause
game play. Note: You must pause the game before the right-hand
gun runs out of ammunition. Go to the inventory screen and press
Select on he gun you wish to have a new scope for. Note:
It cannot be a gun(x2). As the game resumes, your right-hand gun
will change to the new gun you have selected while the left-hand
gun is still reloading. Once the left hand gun has reloaded and
been put away, press Aim. Your gun's normal cross-hairs
will appear, but your gun will zoom in as far as the previous
gun(x2). Note: If you change weapons then change back to the gun
you added a scope to, the gun will no longer zoom in unless you
repeat the entire process. Note: The best scope on a gun(x2) is
the SBP90 Machine-gun(x2)'s scope. The first time you try this,
play a game with no bots. Make the #1 gun the Soviet S47(x2) and
the #2 gun the Homing Launcher. After you have enough practice,
you can try it with bots.

Glitch: Mini zombie heads and arms:
When you shoot off a zombie's head and/or arm, look
very closely at its neck and/or remaining arm (preferably with
a sniper rifle of some sort). You will see a miniature head and/or
arm where the normal-sized one cracked off.

Glitch: Zombie does not attack:
On the Syberian level, get a zombie to follow you to
an elevator. Go in the elevator, and go up or down with the zombie
outside. Get out of the elevator and wait for the zombie to get
in and find you. Note: Make sure it is not on fire. When the zombie
gets outside, it will not hit you. If will instead just stand
there.

Glitch: Zombies can do anything:
Whenever you are not looking at a zombie, it can fly
up and down, float over falls of any sort, and walk through walls,
doors, windows, etc.

Glitch: Zombies yell after they die:
If you can shoot a zombie after it is dead before it
stops moving, it will make a sound like you killed it again.

Glitch: Dumb story AI character:
If you look at a story AI character while it is chasing
you and are up a story so it cannot get to you, it will just stand
there. When you get to where the story AI character can reach
you, it still will not move. Note: If the story AI character has
a gun it will still shoot you. Note: As soon as you kill an enemy
and the story AI character can reach you, they will start following
you.

Glitch: Very hard difficulty:
In Challenge mode, select Glass Smash mode. Complete
Pane In The Neck with a silver trophy or above to unlock the "Rotating
Heads" option in the cheat menu. Select this and play missions
such as Siberia or NeoTokyo, and any mission which requires Stealthy
moves. It will now be nearly impossible to snipe because the opponents
have spinning heads and can see you from any direction except
above. Also, your Temporal Uplink will go haywire.

Glitch: Easy Fire Tag victory:
This trick works for Fire Tag and Virus. Enter the
Aztec map. Go to the bridge and exit it on the side with a fork
in the path. Choose the left fork. Once you exit the path you
will reach an oasis. Go to the left side. Notice there is a plant
in the corner of the oasis-type place. If you walk directly next
to the wall you can make it past the plant and into this little
area. The CPU will try to get you, but they will walk into the
plant and just keep running at you with no success. If you are
playing Virus mode try killing the CPU players so all the infected
ones do not come at once.

Glitch: Floating harpoon:
Shoot a harpoon gun at a ghost. The harpoon will stick
in it. If you do not have the Ghost Gun, the harpoon will look
like it is floating because you cannot see the ghost.
Glitch: Melee attack through walls:
Whenever you are near a wall, door, window, etc. that
is thin enough, you can punch through it.

Glitch: Shoot through walls:
Whenever you are near a thin wall, door, or something
of that sort to the point where your gun goes through it, you
can shoot through it.

Glitch: Stop rapid-fire weapons:
While firing weapons like the Monkey Gun and the alternate
fire on the Rocket Launcher where you cannot stop firing until
the clip runs out, get in a vehicle or throw a grenade. The gun
will stop firing.

Glitch: Mangled gun:
If you have grenades and a double gun besides the Flare
Gun or the Scifi Handgun, pull out your double gun. Then, switch
to the single version of that weapon and quickly hold Throw
Grenade
. Then, go into aim mode and aim to your right. Your
left gun will appear, and will be all mangled and ripped to pieces.
Note: Your crosshair must be off or on and moving. Note: You do
not have to aim to the right with the Machine Gun because you
will hold it sideways in the middle of the screen.

Glitch: Fire bullets while a rocket is
attacked to your K-SMG:
Put a rocket on your K-SMG then switch back to no rocket.
Quickly switch weapons then switch back before you can take off
the rocket. If you have grenades, throw a grenade instead of switching
weapons. Either way, the rocket will stay on and your gun will
shoot bullets while the rocket is still attacked.

Glitch: Changing bots:
When you use bot sets "Custom 1-5" and put
any of the following bots on them they will turn into the listed
bot once game play starts. Note: With the "Custom Mapmaker"
bot set in story mode, the story AI will make the same changes.

Select Jim Smith or John Smith and they will turn into John Smith.

Select Edwina or Deadwina and they will turn into Edwina.

Select Ivor Baddic, Pulov Yuran, or Comrade Papadov and they will
turn into " ". No name or picture will show up for this
character.

Select Captain Fitzgerald, Nobby Peters, Sapper Johnson, or Tommy
Jenkins and they will turn into Nobby Peters.

Glitch: Quick mode change:
When you change modes on a gun (especially when you
add a silencer to the Kruger 9mm), immediately after you press
Up to melee attack, fire until your gun reloads automatically.
You must press Up while firing and do not stop until you
reload. Manually reload or change weapons then change back. The
mode change will complete instantly.

Glitch: Weather indoors:
In the Egyptian Tileset, when you place a "death
room" tile even if it is indoors, the weather you have selected
will be in this tile.

Glitch: Fire faster:
With the Tactical 12 gauge or the Sniper Rifle, if
timed correctly you can fire them as fast as the revolver.

Glitch: Cloak cheat does not work:
If you have the Cloak cheat activated, the first time
you start the game you will not be cloaked. This is because the
cheat only works if you spawn.

Glitch: Pants droop:
Sometimes when somebody dies, when they respawn their
pants or where they would have pants will droop down.

Glitch: Tile over tile:
In the mapmaker, if you line up several 3x3 tiles so
they are connected then pick up or copy them as a group, sometimes
they will overlap creating very strange glitches when you play.

Glitch: Always a roof over tile:
When using the Lab Tileset, place a "Corner"
or "Corner Pillars" tile. It will always have a roof,
even if it is on the top story.

Glitch: Delete zombies after you fight
the Deerhaunter:
In Story co-op mode, after you defeat the Deerhaunter
and a zombie is chasing you, run back into the room where you
fought the Deerhaunter. As soon as you both reset in the room,
all the zombies that were chasing you will disappear.

Glitch: CPU characters jump through windows
and walk through locked doors:
CPU characters can jump through windows and walk through
lock doors when you are not looking.

Glitch: CPU characters cannot use doors:

When you are too far away, the CPU characters cannot
figure out how to open doors.

Glitch: No character animations:
At the character selection screen, choose a person
then press Triangle, X. The character will not do
their animation. Note: As soon as you press X again, they
will do their animation. Note: In multi-player mode the game will
not start until the character does their animation or you X(2).

Glitch: Freeze character animation:
Press X to start a character's animation. Press
Triangle during the animation and switch characters, then
switch back quickly. The animation should freeze shortly afterwards
or be frozen. Note: When you press X the character will
jerk from their original position to they position they are in
now. Note: With Jed you must wait until he starts to swing his
bat backwards for this to work.

Glitch: Story awards with no objectives:

Make a new story logic with an objective, then make
your story awards. Then, delete the logic with the objective and
the objective.

Glitch: Do more damage with the brick:

The more power you build up, the more damage a brick
does when you throw it. Bricks are also a good way to kill five
stars if done correctly. If you hit a five star (or any CPU character)
in the mouth (or any other body part) and it starts to bounce
around on top of or within the enemy, it will do a massive amount
of damage and will usually kill them.

Glitch: Invisible weapon:
With weapons that you throw, like mines and bricks,
if you throw one and quickly do a melee attack, the next time
your hand comes up there will be nothing in it. However, the next
time you press Fire or switch weapons and come back, the
weapon will be there again.

Glitch: Walk through ramp in Siberia:
If you walk into the underside of the ramp that leads
up to the dam in Siberia, you will reset on top of it.

Glitch: Jump to platform:
If you are short and you walk off a ramp with a platform
next to you, and your head touches the platform, you will "jump"
up to the platform.

Glitch: Fade away head:
In "Elimination" or "Vampire" mode,
after a zombie is eliminated if you blow their head off with an
explosive before the time it normally takes for their body to
fade away, a head will crack off and fly across the level then
their head will slowly fade away. This is because the game creates
a corpse that is permanent; when the old one fades away as usual,
there will still be a body remaining to show that they were eliminated.

Glitch: Double body:
In "Elimination" or "Vampire" mode,
if someone is eliminated on a slope watch the body immediately
after they fall to the ground. The body will duplicate itself
and the original body will slowly fade away. This is because the
game creates a corpse that is permanent so when the old one fades
away as usual, there will still be a body remaining to show they
were eliminated.

Glitch: Enemies do not attack you:
In any arcade game, stick a mine to someone and do
not detonate it. They will run around in a panic for awhile then
just follow you around without shooting you. Note: Sometimes this
does not work.

Glitch: Fade to cloak body:
In "Elimination" or "Vampire" mode
when the "All characters cloaked" cheats is activated
and someone is eliminated, parts of their body will be cloaked
and some will not be. The non-cloaked parts will slowly fade away.
This is because the game creates a cloaked corpse that is permanent
so when the old one fades as usual, do there will still be a body
remaining to show they were eliminated.

Glitch: Pass out:
Sometimes when you are very low on health, if you go
off any drop (even if it is barely visible), you will die and
it appears that you passed out or tripped.

Glitch: Dancing Turbo Buggy:
If a Turbo Buggy gets flips up on its back bumper,
sometimes when you go over and try to flip it, the vehicle will
just start to turn around in a circle on its back bumper. If you
touch it while it is doing this, the game will reset you back
a short distance. Note: The only way to stop it from doing this
its to knock it over with an item or shoot it.

Glitch: Shoot while you have the bag:
When you set the "Bag carrier can't shoot"
option, if you go up to a gun turret and get on you can still
shoot by using it.

Glitch: Virus by flares:
During a game of "Virus", if you shoot someone
with a flare gun turret they will become a virus.

Glitch: Cannot walk on stairs:
Some characters like the Berserker Splitter and Robot
Louis Stevenson are too tall to go down or up the ramp in the
Horror Tileset without ducking, and sometimes they cannot leave
the top of the tile.

Glitch: Survive a one shot kill shot:
If you are falling and get shot in mid-air when the
game is set to "One shot kill", your health will only
go down the amount it normally does when you get shot with that
weapon. However, when you hit the ground you will die and it will
count as a suicide.

Glitch: See through Corp. Hart's hair:

On the left side of Corp. Hart's hair, by the laser
strap, her hair is the same color as the strap. You can see into
her head.

Glitch: Extra kill:
When you are going for your last kill, if you kill
two or more people at the exact same time you will get one or
more extra kills beyond the score limit.

Glitch: Strange outer glow:
When you become the gladiator in "Gladiator"
mode, if you do not look up, down, left or right, the glow on
your arms will end up in a strange location, depending on whom
you are playing as. Note: This does not always work.

Glitch: Scoring:
Play Chasm on Team Deathmatch mode, and choose a robot
or golem as a character. Set all the weapons to flamethrowers.
Start the match and watch people ignite their own teammates. After
the game has ended, you will notice that your opponent's team's
score will be ridiculously low, such as -7,000 or something similar.
