Original Dragon Buster costume in Tales
Of Dragon Buster:
Start a Tales Of Dragon Buster mini-game at Namco Isle
and press L1 + R1 + Triangle at the title
screen. You will have the classic Dragon Buster character's costume,
retro music, and retro sound effects.


Completion bonuses:
Successfully complete and save the game to unlock the
"Unknown" difficulty, very hard difficulty, "Sound
Test" option, and "Game Record" option. Start a
new game with a cleared game file to have access to the "Grade
Shop". Clear the collector's book after completing the game at least
two times. Then, speak to the man in purple clothes at the library
in the Daath church to get the "Item Collector" title
for Jade. Talk to the same man again with that title and Brillante
secret shop will now appear near the Inn in Grand Chokmah. The Abyss Replica Facility secret dungeon can be accessed on your
second playthrough with a cleared game file if you saved Shiba
and have completed the Ortion Cavern (East) side quest. Go to
Sheridan and talk to the two men in the northwest part of town.
Then talk to Shiba and you will be taken to the dungeon.

Hint: Dragon Buster mini-game actions:

First, unlock the Dragon Buster mini-game. Press L1
+ R1 + Triangle at the title screen. The background
music and sound effects will change into the original Dragon Buster
game and Luke will be wearing his Dragon Buster costume when you
play the mini-game. When fighting the Dragon (second playthrough
only), taunt with R2 five times to make Natalia the princess.
Taunt with L2 five times to make Anise the princess.


Hint: Defeating Dist (final round):
When you reach the top of the Tower of Rem, you will
encounter Dist. This is a difficult fight -- keep everyone's HP
full with Tear, use Artes to attack with Jade, and attack rapidly
with Luke and Guy. Repeat this battle routine until the fight
ends. The recommended order is Luke, Tear, Jade, and Guy.

Hint: Defeating Sword Dancer and obtaining
Ultimatus:
Sword Dancer is an optional Boss and must be fought
three times throughout the game to obtain the "Ultimatus"
sword. To find Sword Dancer you must meet certain conditions.
Sword Dancer will be in the form of a sword plunged into the ground
before the first and third fight.

First fight
Recommended level: 20 or higher.
Location: Coral Castle.
Condition: After defeating Arietta, reenter Coral Castle to find
a sword in the middle of the room. Examine it and choose the first
option. Be prepared; this fight is difficult.


Second fight
Recommended level: 30 or higher.
Location: A search point Northeast of Rotelro Bridge.
Condition: Examine this search point with very many healing items
and a good strategy. This can be done any time before clearing
the Absorption Gate.


Third fight
Recommended level: At least 50.
Location: Feres Island.
Condition: View the cinematic where Eldrant appears in the sky.
Enter the mansion, then exit. There should be a sword in the ground.
Examine it and choose the first option. This is a very difficult
fight. Use the same strategy as the first two fights. When defeated,
Sword Dancer will drop the "Ultimatus" sword.

Hint: Mystic Artes:
While fighting anyone of the Six God-Generals (Excluding
Dist, the Reaper), Van Grants, Rid Hershel, Nanaly Fletch, Philia
Philis, Mint Adnade, or Nebilim they will eventually use a Mystic
Arte.


Luke's Mystic Artes
Radiant Howl: Hits the Enemy with rays of focused light, then
uses a hyperresonance-type blast to obliterate the enemy in close
range.
Ion: Sends Ion to use his version of: Akashic Torment.
Lost Fon Drive: Summons focused light, makes a series of slashes,
then creates a cataclysmic blast.


Tear Grants' Mystic Artes
Innocent Shine: Sends down luminescent lights to destroy every
enemy in close range.
Fortune's Ark: Send down a series of powerful rays of light to
destroy every target at long range.
Fortune's Ark Extension: Summons a Cross shaped Glyph to destroy
any surviving enemies.


Jade Curtiss' Mystic Artes
Mystic Cage: Traps the Target(s) in an Orb-type luminescent
prison then crushes them in the cage while it explodes.
Indignation: Creates a Fonic Glyph then send down powerful lightning.


Guy Cecil's Mystic Artes
Razing Phoenix: Makes a vertical jump, a diagonal jump, then
jumps into the air with fire in the form of a phoenix.
Brilliant Overlord: Sends charged slashes across the screen at
the enemy and ends with a distorted slash deal heavy damage.


Anise Tatlin's Mystic Artes
Final Fury: Slashes the enemy until administering a fatal
smashing blow.
Fever Time: Sends 20,000 Gald to crush any enemy in range and
ends with a low grade explosion.
Dying Moon: Smashes down on the enemy with a powerful jump then
ends with a fatal uppercut.


Natalia luzu Kimlasca lanvaldear's Mystic Artes
Astral Rain: Send an arrow into the air and ends with a series
of focused light arrows raining down on the enemy(s).
Noble Roar: Sends stars to surround and attack the enemy then
ends with a fatal arrow to obliterate the enemy.

Rending Saber: Plunges a sword in the ground and follow up
with blasts of light flowing upward.

Brimstone Tempest: Surrounds the enemy with an immense blaze.

Akashic Torment: A stronger version of Ion's Fonic Arte.

Burning Phoenix: Slides across the ground for fire and magma to
spew out of the Earth.

Wild Geese: Blasts a single arrow surrounded by fire.


Philia Philis' Divine Skills
Sacred Penance: Has the same effect of Fortune's Ark Extension.

Big Bang: Creates then Destroys a supernova-type environment (Divine
Skill version).


Mint Adnade's Mystic Artes
Time Stop: Stops Time for the Target(s) and although effective
it does not really count as a Mystic Arte.


Van Grants' Mystic Artes
Imperial Slaughter: Same effect as Rending Saber. Stronger

Celestial Elegy: Raises luminescent lights smashes them in the
ground then spreads them throughout the battlefield.

Arte.
Mystic Cage: A more powerful version of Jade's first Mystic Arte.

Rending Saber: A more powerful version of Asch's Mystic Arte.

to be completed once, Anise must be at full HP, and the "Lucky"

in a Cat costume. This subevent works with any character, although
they will give their Cat costume to Anise.

title:
After completing the Radiation Gate, go to the Church
in Daath to start a subevent where Florian needs someone to act
as the mischievous villan in a child play. Anise will Volunteer.
After watching the scene where Anise stars in the play, she will
keep the costume.

Razing Phoenix: Activate Over Limit and hold X after using
an Arcane Arte.


Brilliant Overlord. To activate this Mystic Arte, complete the
game once, equip Jewel of Gardios, use Final Cross over 50 times,
HP must be around 25%. Activate Over Limit and hold X after
using the "Final Cross" Arte.

After neutralizing the Miasma at the Tower Of Rem,
talk to Ramdas in Batical to start the "Viscount Fabre"

Complete the following events to get Tear's "Big
Sister" title. As the events are completed, Tear remembers
how Major Legretta taught her. When you first enter Daath, sleep
in the inn. When you first enter Sheridan, sleep in the inn. After
the scene where the guards attack the group when Ion recites the
Score, sleep in Daath's Inn. Sleep in Sheridan's Inn after clearing
Tataroo Valley twice.


Hint: Tear Grant's "Monster Collecter"
title:
Available after clearing the game once (2nd playthrough),
clearing the Absorption gate and Natalia rejoin the group. On
the third floor of the Keterburg Hotel look for the room filled
with cats and talk to the kid wearing the cat suit inside, he
will ask Tear if Legendary Monsters (Behemoth, Sandworm, Replicantis)
exist and she says yes without realizing it, he then ask her to
prove they exist by bringing back items of their defeat. Defeat
the Three Legendary Monsters of the world.


Hint: Tear Grants' identity:
As you advance through the game you will find out that
Tear Grants' real name is "Mysterica".


Hint: Abyssmen costumes:
After completing the Absorption Gate and Natalia rejoins
the party, talk to the maid in Emperor Peony's room.


Hint: Legretta's letter:
After completing the Special Training subevent and
defeating Legretta in Eldrant, go to Tear's Flower room in Yulia
City to start an event where Tear finds a letter on Van's tombstone
written by Legretta and signed with her real name. After reading
the letter about how Legretta joined Van to seek revenge on him,
Tear tells everyone to leave the room and breaks down in tears.
After this event, Tear keeps the costume in her flashbacks.


Hint: Final battle titles and costumes:

After entering Eldrant once, talk to Emperor Peony
in his throne room to get every character their costume.


Luke: "Wild Saber" title.
Tear: "Cool Chick" title.
Jade: "Evil Fonist?" title.
Anise: "Childish" title.
Guy: "Blade Master" title.
Natalia: "Imperial Will" title.

Hint: Swimsuit titles/costumes:
After completing the Absorption Gate and Natalia rejoins
the groupm complete the "Peony's Rappigs" subevent to
get the Spa Pass and a new title for Jade. Use the Spa Pass in
the Keterburg Inn by talking to the woman next to the hotel register.
She will recognize the Pass and allow entry to the spa where a
scene starts. After viewing this scene, the characters will keep
their swim suits. Reenter the Spa to view another scene where
Guy get his "Naughty Devil" title.


Hint: Character costume comments:
Equip any character with their swimsuit costume (title),
fight a large number of battles, and wait for a skit to appear.
This skit should involve that character being commented on his
or her costume by the other characters and saying they were forced
to wear it and they do not know who forced them (referring to
the game player). Tear, Luke and Natalia are recommended for this.



Hint: Replica Console room:
After completing the Absorption Gate and Natalia rejoins
the group, enter the Belkend Lab and go up, up, right, up, left
to enter the Replica Console room to view an important scene.
This room is locked until this point in the game.


Hint: Yulia City Origin:
After completing the Absorption Gate and Natalia rejoins
the group, before defeating Largo in the Absorption Gate check
the books behind the desk in Tear's house on the first floor.

After completing the game and saving after the credits,
load the cleared saved game file. You will gain access to the
Grade Shop, where you can buy extra items that affects your next
game with the Grade Points you receive from battles.

Go to Daath after you defeat Mohs in the Radiation
Gate. Go into the Chapel and talk to the replica twice. The second
time you talk to him, he will say, "........Ze....los.....
Di..ed..." The person that he is referring to is Zelos from
Tales Of Symphonia. Enter the Batical Colosseum, register in the Advanced Team Match,
and win the battles. After doing so, the Colosseum MC will announce
that new challengers have entered and then calls an Exhibition
Match. The Challengers will be Rid Hershel from Tales Of Eternia,
Nanaly Fletch From Tales Of Destiny 2, Philia Philis from
Tales Of Destiny, and Mint Adnade from Tales Of Phantasia.



Hint: Pac-Man reference:

Enter Nam Cabanda Isle from the Ocean and take
the Elevator up to see a Pac-Man design on the elevator
door. Also, as you go up you will hear sounds from the original
Pac-Man game.


Glitch: Get Asch in your party permanently:

On the OverWorld, when you not doing any loading, open
the disc tray and remove the game disc. Shut the disc tray. Without
the game disc, you can go anywhere on the OverWorld. Once you
got to the desired spot, open the disc tray and put game disc
back in. Close the disc tray. You can now get Asch on the Albiorl
and leave Luke forever in the Mushroom Road. Note: You will lose
Luke if you do this.



Glitch: Wrong monster placement:
In Mt. Zaleho there is a golem that appears to be flying
or walking in mid-air, as if it were programmed as a bat. The
golem always notices your party as you walk by, and occasionally
comes down to encounter you. The battle you fight is against three
bats, as the golem was supposed to be a bat originally.
